Here is a small watercolor sketch made from an old photo. I guess I needed to do something more traditional lately… I am not really a fan of photoshop to be honest and I would be very happy if I could buy me some professional gouache paints. The problem is I don’t seem to get any job and without a job there is no money for gouache… It is not quite motivating for me to get a refusal from every german publisher I applied to because ”my style doesn’t fit the programme”.   I know, I know, I just have to try a little bit harder…

Looong necked

Here are some new illustrations I’ve made for a children’s book I am working on at the moment. The story is about a little giraffe kid who goes to a playground for the very first time. Unfortunately it is not that easy to play when your neck is this long…but in the end it can be surprisingly useful
I am looking for a children’s books publisher right now and in Germany it isn’t easy at all. Well I have to keep trying…
